The URI men’s crew head coach has shared this free rowing opportunity for Veterans, spouses and any Veteran-supporting agencies. No experience is necessary. The program runs every Saturday, 7 a.m to 9 a.m. Rowing takes place at the URI boathouse at Narrow River, learn more: rhodeislandrowing.com.

The coach’s goal is to create new exciting opportunities for Veterans and spouses in honor of our service and continue that esprit de corps feeling. Currently, there is a small group of five Vets and spouses. More would be ideal and fun. Learn more.
 
At USVetConnect.com, they are trying to stop veterans’ suicide by offering up outdoor adventures and service dog providers all in one place that are all over the United States. They are providing a place online to come together to find that military camaraderie in outdoor experiences.
