ATTENTION NORTH KINGSTOWN RESIDENTS
North Kingstown has established a "hot line” for Senior or At Risk Citizens to request assistance for picking up food, pharmacy, prescriptions, or any items deemed necessary. We are here to help.
Anyone needing services – or anyone wishing to volunteer – should call Caroline Tudino, Social Service Coordinator or Marie Marcotte, Senior Center Director at
401-268-1579, Monday – Friday 8:30am – 4:00pm.
General guidance from our Rhode Island Department of Health:
Anyone who thinks they might have COVID-19 should call their healthcare provider. These people should not go directly to a healthcare facility without first calling a healthcare provider (unless they are experiencing a medical emergency).
Everyone needs to do their part to stop the spread of COVID-19.
The Rhode Island Department of Health has launched a 24-hour hotline for anyone with questions about the Coronavirus (401-222-8022). Residents can also call 211 after 4:30 p.m. for assistance.
The Rhode Island National Guard is hosting their annual Carnival for Heroes event. This is a FREE event open toALL branches and components in the military AND their military spouses and children!!
Military ID required.
If you like free food, ice cream, and games, you'll enjoythis event. Also, if you have school-aged children, theycan take advantage of the free school supplies and backpacks!
The event is on Saturday, August 17 from 1:00PM-4:00PM atCamp Fogarty in East Greenwich, Rhode Island.
