Important COVID-19 Information

North Kingstown has established a "hot line” for Senior or At Risk Citizens to request assistance for picking up food, pharmacy, prescriptions, or any items deemed necessary.  We are here to help.

Anyone needing services – or anyone wishing to volunteer – should call Caroline Tudino, Social Service Coordinator or Marie Marcotte, Senior Center Director at

401-268-1579, Monday – Friday 8:30am – 4:00pm.

General guidance from our Rhode Island Department of Health:

Anyone who thinks they might have COVID-19 should call their healthcare provider. These people should not go directly to a healthcare facility without first calling a healthcare provider (unless they are experiencing a medical emergency).

Everyone needs to do their part to stop the spread of COVID-19.

  1. Stay home from work if you are sick.
  2. Wash your hands often.
  3. Use warm water and soap or alcohol-based gel.
  4. Cough or sneeze into your elbow.
  5. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth.
  6. Whenever possible, avoid close personal contact in public.

The Rhode Island Department of Health has launched a 24-hour hotline for anyone with questions about the Coronavirus (401-222-8022). Residents can also call 211 after 4:30 p.m. for assistance.

People with general questions about COVID-19 can also visit www.health.ri.gov/covid, write to RIDOH.COVID19Questions@health.ri.gov, or call 401-222-8022.

North Kingstown VFW Memorial Post 152 enjoys supporting their fellow veterans as well as the community as a whole. We actively select programs and partners who assist veterans from WWII to OIF/OEF. We have a rich tradition of enhancing the lives of thousand through our community service programs and special projects.
We understand the current-day veteran community is far more diverse than it was 20 or 30 years ago, which is why we are committed to gaining new members who are of all ages, genders, and conflicts. We put services at the forefront of what we do and leave the old stigma of dark, smoky bars that the VFW has been known for in the past.

From local grassroots ideas to national influence, we work every day to make a difference.  It's our strength as an organization.  And, with each individual membership, we only grow stronger.

The purpose of the North Kingstown VFW shall be fraternal, patriotic, historical, charitable, and educational. We will preserve and strengthen comradeship among all veteran and are prepared to assist fellow veterans. We have a duty to perpetuate the memory and history of our fallen; and to assist their widows and orphans. Our educational and historical activities will foster true patriotism and maintain and extend the institutions of the United States.
