North Kingstown VFW Memorial Post 152 enjoys supporting their fellow veterans as well as the community as a whole. We actively select programs and partners who assist veterans from WWII to OIF/OEF. We have a rich tradition of enhancing the lives of thousand through our community service programs and special projects.
We understand the current-day veteran community is far more diverse than it was 20 or 30 years ago, which is why we are committed to gaining new members who are of all ages, genders, and conflicts. We put services at the forefront of what we do and leave the old stigma of dark, smoky bars that the VFW has been known for in the past.

From local grassroots ideas to national influence, we work every day to make a difference.  It's our strength as an organization.  And, with each individual membership, we only grow stronger.

The purpose of the North Kingstown VFW shall be fraternal, patriotic, historical, charitable, and educational. We will preserve and strengthen comradeship among all veteran and are prepared to assist fellow veterans. We have a duty to perpetuate the memory and history of our fallen; and to assist their widows and orphans. Our educational and historical activities will foster true patriotism and maintain and extend the institutions of the United States.

Vietnam War Veterans (50th Anniversary) on the field at Fenway Park
The Red Sox are going to recognize Vietnam War Veterans (50th Anniversary) on the field at Fenway Park during the ceremony prior to the Run to Home Base on 15 July and then again later that night during the Sox pre-game ceremony prior to them playing the Yankees. Here is a flyer, application, and the digital link for the event. They are looking for 100 Vietnam War Veterans for the race and at least 1,000 for the pre-game ceremony. Each Vietnam Vet that is recognized will also receive two tickets to a game. We appreciate your assistance in getting the word out to members of this era of Veterans that deserve so much more recognition than they ever received.
