North Kingstown VFW Post 152 is a community of combat veterans and overseas service members who continue to serve our fellow veterans, our military families, and our local community. Our members represent every generation of military service, from World War II veterans to those who have served in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other overseas operations.


Whether you're looking to reconnect with fellow veterans, give back through community service, mentor the next generation, or simply enjoy the camaraderie of those who understand your experiences, you'll find a place here.


Are You Eligible?

You may be eligible to join the Veterans of Foreign Wars if you have:

  • Earned a campaign or expeditionary medal for overseas service.
  • Served 30 consecutive or 60 non-consecutive days in Korea.
  • Received Hostile Fire Pay or Imminent Danger Pay.
  • Met other VFW eligibility requirements based on qualifying overseas military service.

Visit Us

We invite all eligible veterans to attend one of our monthly meetings and learn more about what we do.

Meeting Schedule

  • When: First Monday of every month at 7:00 PM
  • Where: Carriage Inn, North Kingstown, Rhode Island

What We Do

North Kingstown VFW Post 152 is proud to serve veterans, military families, youth, and our local community through programs including:

  • Veterans in the Classroom educational outreach
  • Patriot's Pen middle school essay scholarship program
  • Voice of Democracy high school audio-essay scholarship program
  • Annual scholarships for North Kingstown students
  • Military Assistance Program supporting active-duty service members and their families
  • Public Safety Officer, Teacher, and Scout recognition programs
  • Veterans Appreciation Day and the .152 Fun Run
  • Support for local veterans in need throughout the year
  • Contributions to Operation Stand Down Rhode Island
  • Support for the North Kingstown Food Pantry
  • Support for North Kingstown Recreation youth programs
  • Visits to the Rhode Island Veterans Home, VA facilities, and nursing homes
  • Honor and Color Guard details for community ceremonies
  • Participation in Memorial Day, Veterans Day, and other patriotic observances

It's just one more way we're able to say, "thank you" for all you've done to protect our freedom!
 
 
10 percent discount, up to a $500 maximum, to all active, reserve, retired or disabled veterans and their family members with a valid military ID, every day of the week. All other Military veterans qualify for a 10 percent discount during Memorial Day, Veterans Day an Independence Day.
