David Ainslie
Commander - Army

Mr. David Ainslie is a retired U.S. Army Infantry noncommissioned officer with 25 years of service.
 
He served with the Presidential Escort in Washington D.C., 1/506 Inf. on the DMZ in Korea; deployed to the Middle East with the Multinational Force and Observer in Egypt; and served with the Pathfinder Detachment Special Operations Command Korea.
 
He has two combat deployments in support of OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM. His staff time includes teaching at the 101st Noncommissioned Officer Academy, course writer for the U.S. Army Sergeant Majors Academy, Operations NCO for 3/502nd Inf., and was a Military Science Instructor for the Department of Military Instruction at the United States Military Academy at West Point.

His decorations include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, Purple Heart, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Combat Infantry Badge, Pathfinder Badge, Master Parachutist Badge, and South Korean Parachute Wings.
 
Mr. David Ainslie works at the Navy War College, where he is a member of the Maritime Operational Planners Course (MOPC), which produces officers capable of forming, organizing, and leading operational planning teams and are proficient in the detailed application of the Navy Planning Process.
 
He is married to the amazing Claudia Ainslie and has two daughters, Kayla and Caylee. They make their home in North Kingstown.
